Every organisation drifts. This check doesn’t measure distance from an ideal culture; it shows where your organisation has stopped noticing and choosing. It is a conversation starter, not a validated measure, and nothing you enter leaves your browser.

Use it to see, not to score
- Talk about the gap, not the average.Ask your leadership team to take the check separately, then compare codes. Spend your first conversation on the idea where you disagree most. If one person scores it low and another high, you are working in different organisations without knowing it.
- Compare the top with the front line.Collect codes from your leadership team and from a front-line team separately, and compare the two. The difference is your ground truth made visible.
- Take it before and after a big change.Run it before an AI rollout, restructure or new operating model, and again six months later. What moves shows you what the change took that the business case didn’t.
- Agree one thing to stop.Take your top result, work through that idea’s questions on the map, and end by choosing one thing to stop doing. Starting something new is the easier, and usually less useful, response.
Please don’t make this a target. Once a drift score becomes a KPI, people manage the score instead of the drift, and it becomes one more scoreboard nobody chose.
